Park(ing) Day at liv+work

Friday September 15th, 9am-5pm

For one day, we'll turn a parking spot into a mini park. Join the fun and rethink how we use our urban spaces in our beloved downtown ICT!

Stop by liv+work, bring a friend to hang with, your pup to play with, a book to read... We're going to enjoy ourselves outside all day! Our designer leader, Liv, will set up a creative outdoor installtion in the parking spot directly in front of the LIV+WORK shop for all of you to enjoy! We can't give away any hints of what will take place of the parking, but we promise it'll be SO. FUN.

<<Wichita's second annual Park(ing) Day event - building on the success of the first, in which a dozen businesses and organizations set up miniature public spaces in the place of on-street parking spots - will take place on the third Friday of September. Goals for Park(ing) Day 2017 include 50 parklets and 5,000 people engaged with the event.>>
